You, the manager(s) responsible, the director(s) are all personally liable to a jail term of up to 2 years

Someone could die. Have a look at the news story on the right. Approximately 1/3rd of those deaths were whilst the driver was 'at work' that is a potential 800+ prosecutions, and that was just in 2008 - the 'best' year since records began.

Eco driving

I don't know about you but the fuel I put in my car each week costs more than the car each week. What I do know is that most drivers can be trained to achieve around 15% more fuel economy in just half a day. How much would that save your business every year ?

Trailer training

Not got the right licence sir ? Didn't know sir ? That's no excuse in the eyes of the law sir.

So "Not driving in accordance with your licence sir - LC20 - between 3 & 6 points sir.

Of course, that means you aren't insured then sir - IN10 - that'll be another 6 - 8 points then sir.

Oh dear, that's 14 points already and because that would get you a ban sir it will have to be a court hearing. Of course, when you lose your licence you won't only lose your job sir, you won't be able to drive your own car. Still think of the money you'll save on fuel sir.

And your boss didn't check you had the right licence sir ? Ah, so he caused and permitted the offences sir, we'll be off to see him next. Possibly you can call him and ask him to send someone who is licensed and insured for this vehicle and trailer sir because you cannot continue this journey. Have a nice day sir.
