Why a trainer and not an instructor ?Let's start by reminding you that all of our trainers are also fully qualified driving instructors. However all of them have decided to specialise in going that extra mile - to be better than the rest. How much faith have you got in someone that tells you how to do something, but you never see them do it ? Empty promises, "we're number one" - "the market leaders" - "we can make you number one". The difference is that we are looking to enhance existing skills, to driver coach. What we do is demonstrate that we can do what we sat we can do. That's why for every course we run we will show you how it's done. If we are fleet driver training we'll demonstrate and give a commentary on what and why we do things and when. We will explain why we slowed down much earlier than you may have done, how we knew there was something around that corner, why answering your hands free phone makes your reaction time twice as bad as a drink driver. If we are are eco driving we'll select a route, let you drive it, note the time and economy. Then we'll drive the same vehicle over the same route - normally in the same time and normally with a great fuel saving. Then we'll show you how to do it too. If we are trailer training we'll prove we can do it. We don't just talk the talk - we drive the drive. We specialise in getting you to understand driving as a skill. |
